1. Collects, Preserves, and Interprets Fridley's History: the Histories of Families, Businesses, Nonprofit Organizations, Government and Schools
2. Disseminates Historical Information about Fridley for the Benefit of Past and Current Citizens of Fridley, Researchers, and Schools
3. Developed the Only Community-Based Museum in Anoka County, Holds 24 History Center Open Houses Annually, and Offers Many Private Tours
4. Made Possible the Publication of a Fridley Events Calendar for 2008 Mailed Free to Every Fridley Household
5. Produces 13 Community Events for Fridley Residents Every Year
6. Hosts 7 History Conversations Annually Presenting Witnessed Accounts of Fridley's History, which are Videotaped for Future Generations and Telecast on Fridley Cable Channel 15
8. Sponsors Annual Lasagna/Spaghetti Dinner, Raffle & Auction as a Fund-Raiser and Community Get-Together
9. Produces "AugustFest" with Live Entertainment, Old-Time 1870s Baseball, Fire Engines, Clowns & Magicians, and City Royalty
10. Sponsors a float honoring Fridley City Band for Fridley 49ers Day Parade
11. Created the Fridley Hall of Fame to Honor Those Who Contributed Most to Fridley's Growth and Success
12. Produces the Annual Kindergarten Holiday Art Fair
13. Sponsors the Society's Annual Christmas Concert
